Bollywood goes for adult animation

After Rajnikant, Feroz Khan, Fardeen and Koena Mitra get animated.
Rajnikant has done it and now, it's the first time a Bollywood actor to get a 3D animated version. Suparn Verma's Ek Khiladi Ek Haseena will be animated as EKEK 2. If all goes well, the film will be released in 2008.

Talking about the film, Verma says, "I've rewritten EKEK 2 and am directing it. With a tool like animation, your vision is as limited as your imagination. EKEK 2 has stupendous action too. What's even more interesting is that this is the first animation film made in India that will cater to the adult segment. It's not a children's film."

All the characters of the original film, Feroz Khan, Fardeen Khan and Koena Mitra feature in this flick too. "Apart from conning, the stars in EKEK 2 do a lot of capers and heists too. Although animation doesn't require them to shoot, the stars will be dubbing for it. By the way, Koena has a bootylicious Latino look that men are going to like."

Says producer Pritish Nandy, "We are trying to evolve a character that meets the compulsions of the character in the movie and looks reasonably similar to the star in real life."
