Disney-MGM Studios gets name change

Disney-MGM Studios recently announced its name change to Disney's Hollywood Studios, with effect from January 2008.
The Disney theme park is among the four mammoth resorts. The change in name is reportedly a reflection of the evolving changes in the entertainment industry today.
In an official statement Walt Disney World Resort president Meg Crofton said, "The new name reflects how the park has grown from representing the golden age of movies to a celebration of the new entertainment that today's Hollywood has to offer - in music, television, movies and theater."
