Google launches offline campaign for Adwords in India

Google today launched offline campaign to promote its online advertising programme, Adwords with a road show in Ahmedabad. World’s largest search engine Google is targeting at 2 tier cities for its road shows in the first phase. The idea is to create awareness among people through its catchphrase “Find and Be Found”. It is to drive people to online advertising through Google.

Though Google introduced its premium advertising programme of generating targeted leads more than three years ago in India, this is for the first time that it has started a focused offline programme to promote. Its online Sales and Operations Manager Krishnamurthy Josyula was here with his team to explain to the representatives of Small and Medium Businesses the power and effectiveness of the Adwords in terms of reach, flexibility and Return on Investment.
